About the Client:

The client offers online lead generation service and improvement of online sales conversion for small- and medium-sized B2C companies. He also provides online marketing strategy streamlining for his clients.

The Challenge:

The client was overworking and, regardless of not having any days off or vacations, being late on delivering promised services was a continuing problem. This damaged relationships with clients, albeit he delivered results. He felt obligated to take every project that came his way and took responsibility for things not in his control. The monthly turnover was relatively good, but the majority of the income went directly to covering the costs of his clients’ projects, such as paid ads, destroying his profit margin.

“I felt almost fearful in my business. Every time my phone rang, I was afraid there would be one of my clients with new demands or complaints. I was continuously interrupted by calls and checking my emails, and I felt I had to respond immediately or the clients would get even more upset at me. Solution:

Next, a realistic strategy focusing on expanding this area was created. Implementation was balanced with his current situation and scaled up as his situation improved.

The client worked on understanding how his own business worked and how he’d want it to work, instead. Easy to implement routines that protected his time and energy levels were integrated into his daily schedule. Clearer rules and boundaries were established.

Based on his playground and ideal client profile, he offered service packages designed to bring incredible value to his clients. The new marketing communication signaled who he works with and what kind of results working with him produces to his clients.

Results:

The client gained better control of his working hours. Instead of being at work 24/7, he left his office daily at 4pm and spent the evening with his family. The relationship with clients shifted from slaving in it to being the trusted and appreciated leader in his own industry and location.

The client attracted prospects running €5-10M companies, instead of startups with a bootstring budget. His company’s profitability increased so much he converted it from sole proprietorship to a Private Limited company.

For the first time in the 5-year history of the company, there were significant funds on the company’s account and in his own personal bank account.
