Today I realized how “click-by-click” easy many Internet tools have become when my 6 years old daughter installed a WordPress blog, downloaded, unzipped and uploaded a blog theme of her own choice from WordPress.com, and published her first blog post!
She was so excited to see her text appear in her brand new blog website that she immediately wanted to publish another one :-)
Both posts are only few words long because her reading and writing skills are just about to be there. The whole installation probably took about the same time than that typing those words.
Yet, I am a pretty darn proud about my daughter – she is a perfect reminder of how our adults’ mind can sometimes be such a liar about how something is “so difficult that I can’t do it”!
Yes I can!
